Living in Tucson, and sometimes shopping at Safeway, it was impobbile for me to believe that our sleepy, happy, freindly little town could harbor such a crazy. My son and his family often shopped there.
I was devastated by what happened. On Sunday, the Priest focused some of his homily on the event. He said that we couldn’t point our fingers without some understanding that we also bore a responsiblity for what happens in our society.
Whatever we decide was the cause, it is a hard thing to swallow. Equally hard was the recriminations and found less remarks made by one of our elected officials, the now infamous Sheriff Dupnik.
