Lunch Idea’s – “The Red Hot”
- Sub roll 7”
- Sahuaro Sauce
- Crushed red pepper
- Sliced Jalapeño
- 4 slices of ham
- 2 slices of mozzarella or pepper jack cheese
- 8 slices of pepperoni
Slice open the sub without cutting all the way through. Make it like a boat. Liberally cover with Sahuaro Sauce. Next cover the sauce with enough crushed pepper to turn it red. Remember, you have to eat this. Next, layer with sliced jalapeño. Add the ham, next the cheese and top with pepperoni. Bake in a toaster oven until the cheese is melted, but be careful not to overcook the sub roll.
Enjoy with a glass of sweetened mint ice tea (if flying again today) or a very cold beer. (or 2).
