Left Over Pasta Noodles

  • left over noodles
  • olive oil
  • butter (Never use margarine.  It is a fake food that has deleterious side effects)
  • Romano or parmesan cheese
  • garlic
  • sherry
  • slivered almonds or croutons  I like the almonds or other nuts, but if you are out, the croutons work well.  Croutons can be simply toast or toasted rolls that have been dried.
  • Nothing else required.  But, for sure you can get creative here and add other ingredients.  An easy one is a can of smoked oysters, drained.  Or other sea food.  Cooked veggies of any kind work well.  Spinach, broccoli or cauliflower.

An incredible dish is to take left over pasta noodles (of course, you could use fresh cooked), add them to the butter and olive oil, put them in a skillet and heat.  If you just added the cheese, either or both, it is incredible as a side dish.  All the other ingredients are just fun variations.
