- Lean Ground Beef – 1 1/2 pounds
- Eggs – 2 unbeaten, uncooked
- Brown Onion – 1/2 cup chopped
- Green Pepper – 1/4 cup
- Bread Crumbs – 1/4 cup
- Oats – 1/4 cup
- Ketchup – 1/4 cup
- Sea Salt 1 teaspoon
- Black Pepper, medium ground – 1/2 teaspoon
- Garlic Powder – 1/2 teaspoon
- Liquid Hickory Smoke 1/4 cup (optional)
Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine all ingredients in and hand mix with a fork. Put mixture into a 9×6 bread pan. Shape the meatloaf and cover it with aluminum foil. Bake for 20 minutes then remove the foil and bake another 15 minutes or until top has a crust. Be careful to not burn it. Remove from oven and let rest for 15 minutes. Remove from baking pan and serve on a large platter.
