That very same fondue pot makes an elegant desert. Use the chocolate recipe above and add 1/4 cup whipping cream and 1/4 cup whole milk. Stir the mixture in a sauce pan over very low heat. When the mixture is steamy hot, pour into the fondue.
Cut banana’s into bite size pieces, or other fruit such as Macintosh apples, pineapple pieces or whole strawberry’s. Add a few small cocktail marshmallows. Serve in front of a roaring fire in your outside fireplace with a snifter of very dry sherry.
